        "comment": "I did not want a hearing aid but after frustration between my wife and I choose to get my hearing tested again!\n\nRon tested me told me my hearing was fine but I was not hearing soft sounds.  Thought ok, so what.  Ron further explained it is those soft sounds we hear that gives us the understanding in what is being said.  I was hearing but not understanding what I was hearing.  Pretty sure my wife will confirm that statement!\n\nI had not realized that we had lost communication between us as a result my hearing loss.  Eyesight you notice, hearing others notice.  Once I could hear what was being said and stop pulling away from a conversation from fear, I can honestly say it has brought the fun back into our relationship and removed a frustration for both of us.\n\nDon\u2019t even get me started on the birds on the golf course!\n\nThanks Ron.\n\nSincerely\nBoyd English",

        "comment": "I wanted to share my experience with Ron Gomez and his staff in December 2022.  My 86 y.o. mom broke one of her hearing aids prior to arriving in Palm Desert for the winter.  We were referred to Audibel.  Wendy got us in quickly for an appt.  Ron was very patient with my mom.  In addition to sending her hearing aid in for repair, he spent an  hour with us...re-tested her hearing, and even loaned my mom a pair of state-of-the-art hearing aids to wear until hers could be repaired.  When we returned to get her old hearing aids, he re-programmed them and made sure my mom understood how to change the programs and adjust the volume.  Once again, he was very patient and kind.  He really listened to both of us!!  My mom has had her hearing aids for 18 months and this is the first time she felt that she gained knowledge on how to use her hearing aids correctly!!  BTW, my mom is not super fond of her hearing aids but Ron told her how important it is to wear them every day, all day...that she needs to stay engaged...connected to the world.  It has been so much easier to get her to wear them since we met with Ron.  We will definitely refer anyone who needs hearing aids to Ron at Audibel, and we will be returning each year to get her hearing re-tested by him.  Thank you so much Ron and Wendy!!!",

        "comment": "I was visiting from out of town and lost a dome on one of my hearing aids. I looked to the closest hearing aid store and Audibel Hearing Center was the closest. I walked in showing them what needed to be replaced and a few minutes later the person that helped me walked of with a new set of domes and new batteries. When I asked how much I owed I was told there was no charge. That is great customer service! If I lived in the area I would definitely make this my store of choice! Thanks again, Jim.",

        "comment": "I am writing to share my consistent superlative experiences at Audibel Hearing Centers, Rancho Mirage, CA location.\n\nI have severe hearing loss and have been seeking solutions with doctors and audiologists for over 20 years.  While many were good, non matched the exceptional service provided by Craig and Lorie Whitcomb.\n\nIn my experience Craig has been the ultimate hearing professional.  He is expert, and has wonderful perception of the challenges his patients face.  This makes for a very comfortable experience, and insures the best solution possible.  I am delighted with the devices he took such care in recommending; they open up the world to me.\n\nAlso very important is the office staff.  Lorie is equally kind and caring of clients, and has gone out of her way when working with my insurance company.  Insurance claims for hearing devices and services can require a lot of documentation and verification.   Lorie ensured that I received the maximum allowable benefit.  My devices, by necessity, are more complex so all of her efforts are greatly appreciated.\n\nCraig, Lorie, and Wendy are unfailingly pleasant and a pleasure to work with.         "comment": "at my age, i have visited many doctors & doctor's offices, let me tell you it was amazing. Wendy greeted me by my name, even though i was 1 minute late, paper work was ready for me, the whole check-in time took less than 7 minutes. then the doctor ( Craig Whitcomb ), came walked me to his office,  introduced himself, asked me why i was there, listened to all my concerns, then he explained step by step as what he is going to do and how he is going to conduct the hearing test. while he is being very polite with a big smile on his face. after the test was completed, he shared and explained in layman's terms ,very clearly the result of my test to me. very patiently asked if i had any other questions or concerns. he did not try to rush me out. their office was very clean, they followed ALL covid19 protocol. all & all it was a very pleasant experience. i recommend  Dr. Craig Whitcomb to everyone, he & his staff are GREAT",

Craig and Laurie provide a welcoming atmosphere and comprehensive testing to evaluate your hearing. Laurie took care of my insurance before my arrival and I had no out of pocket expenses. Craig explained the hearing aids in detail and reviewed the phone app.I urge others to take advantages of having your hearing checked. The hearing aids are hardly noticeable and others in your house will thank you for not having the television blaring or repeating themselves when talking to you. She has tinnitus in one ear and has been needed a new hearing aid with a masking device in it. The technology has advanced light years from her twelve year old device.
